Check-in before arriving at the hotel

By providing guests the ability to check in before arriving at the property, long lines can be eliminated before they begin. Virdee mobile web provides guests the ability to check in without downloading an app. Guests can verify their identity, sign terms and conditions, provide payment information, and even purchase upsells and book packages.

Once guests arrive

When guests arrive at the hotel, since they are already checked in, they can either pick up a key at a lobby kiosk or download a digital room key to their Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, or hotel app. This allows them to bypass the front desk completely and spend more time enjoying their stay.

What happens if a guest arrives early?

During the check-in process, guests have the ability to pick an arrival time and, if needed, they can then be presented with the option to pay for early check-in. If a guest arrives before their room is ready, they are enrolled in the Room Ready Notifications flow, which notifies them once their room is ready. Guests can even receive a key card at the lobby kiosk and are then notified via text and email of their room number once the room is ready, removing a second trip to the kiosk.

Add value with lobby ambassadors

Large resorts and hotels place value on personal interactions with guests. Lobby ambassadors can provide a more personal touch than the front desk staff by greeting guests as they enter the hotel. They can guide first-time guests through the digital check-in process or key pickup and greet those seasoned veterans at the same time.
