Virdee has a straight-to-room solution that works with your modern locks. We offer wallet key, mobile key, and key card capabilities.

Virdee technology is integrated with all major lock brands including Vingcard (ASSA ABLOY), dormakaba, MIWA, Onity, and SALTO.

Wallet key

A wallet key is a digital room key that is placed in the guest's Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Benefits include faster unlocking vs traditional mobile keys and being able to have a room key on a smart watch.

For wallet key to work, a lock needs to have RFID capability. Wallet key does not require Bluetooth.

Mobile key

A mobile key is a digital room key that is available via an app. They allow guests to unlock their rooms with just a tap of their phone while also saving hotels the cost of thousands of key cards.

For mobile key to work, a lock needs to have RFID with Bluetooth (BLE) capability. The mobile key specifically uses Bluetooth technology to unlock the door.

Key card

The traditional tap-to-unlock key card has been around for years and is still a reliable option for many guests and hotels. These keys use RFID technology to unlock doors.

As long as you locks have RFID capability, you can use key cards dispensed by the Virdee Kiosk.
